Balakot

At a distance of 220 km from Islamabad and 4 hours journey, lies Balakot, the ‘Gateway’ to the Kaghan Valley. The town lies on the bank of the River Kunhar and serves as a market for the surrounding villages.
It is a famous tourist destination of the region is one of the first stops for tourists who wish to visit the secluded Kaghan valley of the North-West Frontier Province of Pakistan.
